The question posed for discussion on this week’s Trending Faith is about sensitivity to the ownership of the Kingdom. The curious questioner asked when we refer to things as “our” ministry or church, do we need to be careful since the work is ultimately God’s?

“I think we have to give people a little bit of grace when they are referencing what they do for God and how they do it,” explained Grand Canyon University Pastor and Dean of Students Tim Griffin.

However, Pastor Tim also went on to discuss that when we find success in ministry, church or Kingdom work, we need to be careful in not claiming the glory for ourselves. Instead, we should always point back to God and His good work in our lives.
