Grand Canyon University and the Colangelo College of Business develop impactful business research across diverse fields of study. Canyon Emerging Scholars Program

The Canyon Emerging Scholars (CES) program offers students the chance to collaborate with faculty on research that tackles problems across disciplines. Rooted in the Boyer model of scholarship, CES supports applied, integrative and discovery-based research, with a strong focus on reflection, community engagement and interdisciplinary learning.

Collegiate Consortium of Business Insights

GCU provides valuable research opportunities for business students. In the Collegiate Consortium of Business Insights, we empower students through innovative research that connects academic theory with practical applications. We aim to explore, examine, enlighten and empower to advance knowledge, encourage collaboration, spark innovation and shape future business leaders through meaningful inquiry and impactful dialogue.

Research Pillars

GCU and the Colangelo College of Business’ research pillars reflect a Christ-centered vision of academia that connects inquiry with meaningful impact. Guided by a comprehensive view of business-related scholarly work that values discovery, integration, application and teaching, our work is organized around three strategic pillars: Teaching and Learning Innovation, Disciplinary Research and Christian Character Research. Academic Journals

GCU publishes and supports a wide range of peer‑reviewed academic journals that contribute to scholarly dialogue across multiple disciplines. These publications highlight rigorous research, meaningful faculty and student mentorship and the sharing of knowledge within the broader academic community. Many of GCU’s journals are indexed in established academic databases and include platforms for graduate and undergraduate research, business and other discipline‑specific scholarly work and engagement‑focused inquiry that extend the university’s academic influence beyond campus.
