GCU ACBSP Accreditation

GCU has 23 programs accredited by the ACBSP in the Colangelo College of Business. GCU's ACBSP accredited programs include business degrees in accounting, marketing, finance and more. ACBSP is a specialized accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), which ensures the quality and integrity of business degree programs.

Founded in 1992, the ACBSP was the first to provide business accreditation in all levels of postsecondary education including associates, baccalaureate, master and doctorate. ACBSP strives to strengthen the quality of businesses and business schools through promoting research, excellent teaching and a strong focus on student outcomes. Furthermore, the ACBSP champions the virtues of business and the relevance of the subject inside the classroom, encouraging faculty members to take part in the evolving business world to become effective teachers and mentors.
